Soap L'Occitane has created the Women's Day in order to contribute to the project co-development with a soap factory in Burkina Faso, West Africa. To enable the economic empowerment of women of that country, this soap factory is run entirely by women. With this soap, L'Occitane pays tribute to women on the occasion of International Women's Day which is celebrated on March 8.
Soap Woman's Day is composed of 55% Shea Butter, from a fair-trade sector of Burkina Faso. The shea butter helps nourish and hydrate the skin, it can be used everyday and is suitable for both men and women (4.50 € for 100g).
With this great initiative we want to wish a good 8 March to invite all our readers to remember and support women in distress in the world, whatever their race, religion, social class, not just today but all year round!
